This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which DUNDIN STUDIO collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the DUNDIN Instagram Auto DM service (“Service”), which is operated through the Meta app “dundinstudio”. The Service automatically sends a direct message to Instagram users who comment on posts of the Instagram professional account @dundin_net.

  1. Information we collect
    When a User comments on a post of @dundin_net or sends a message to @dundin_net, we receive the following information from Meta through the Instagram API:
    - Instagram-scoped user ID and username
    - Comment text, comment ID and the ID of the commented post
    - Messages and button selections sent to @dundin_net
    - Whether the User follows @dundin_net
    We do not collect passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, payment information or any other information.
  2. How we use the information
    The information is used only to:
    - Detect comments that contain a keyword set by @dundin_net
    - Send a private reply and the requested link to the User by direct message
    - Check whether the User follows @dundin_net before sending the link
    We do not use the information for advertising, profiling or any other purpose, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.
  3. Data retention
    Comment and message data is processed when it is received and is not stored permanently. We keep a delivery log (Instagram-scoped user ID, comment ID and delivery time) for up to 30 days to prevent duplicate messages. After 30 days, the log is deleted automatically.
  4. How we protect your information
    All data is transferred over HTTPS. Access tokens and logs are stored on servers that only DUNDIN STUDIO can access.
  5. Data deletion
    You can request deletion of your data at any time. Send an email to [email protected] with your Instagram username and the subject “Data deletion request”. We will delete all data related to you within 30 days and confirm the deletion by email.
    You can also stop all data processing by deleting your comment or by blocking @dundin_net on Instagram.
  6. Changes to this privacy policy
    DUNDIN STUDIO has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
